Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Glass/Mirror Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of glass and mirror products across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure precise measurements, safe handling of glass materials, and flawless installation of windows, doors, fixtures, and custom glass features. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance spaces with craftsmanship and precision. Duties Measure spaces accurately using dimensional measurement tools to ensure proper fitment of glass and mirror products Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installations Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fabrication, and transportation to the installation site Install windows, doors, mirrors, fixtures, cabinets, trim carpentry elements, and metal framing with precision Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, securing, and finishing glass components Perform heavy lifting as needed to position large or heavy glass panels safely on-site Apply caulking and construction painting techniques to ensure finished installations are sealed and visually appealing Conduct quality control measurements to verify proper fitment and alignment of installed items Follow construction plans closely while adhering to safety standards on the job site Assist with remodeling projects by fabricating custom glass features or modifying existing structures as required Skills Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, measuring tapes, and specialized glass handling equipment Ability to handle glass materials safely during fabrication and transportation processes Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques Knowledge of caulking application for weatherproofing and finishing touches Handyman experience or general construction background enhances versatility in project tasks Join our team if you're eager to bring craftsmanship to life through expert glass installation!
