Budget Blinds is the industry leader in custom window coverings. We are a family-owned and operated franchise. We provide everything you need to be successful. We are seeing seeking a full-time professional installer of window coverings for a full-time position (30-40 hours a week). Responsibilities and Duties We are looking for an Installer who can: Install blinds, shades, shutters and other window treatments. Perform window treatment repairs. Communicate with customers. Maintain proper installation paperwork. Clean job site premises of any installation debris, dust, etc Help organize window covering orders and installation materials in the shop. Use simple computer programs (email). Qualifications and Skills Installer Skills, Abilities, and/or Experience that make a successful candidate: Prior general workmanship skills from any industry. Self-directed and able to work independently and work as a valuable team player. Friendly, courteous, pleasant with all types of people. Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills. Telephone, written and verbal communication skills are critical when interfacing with all levels of Budget Blinds staff and clients. Current and valid driver's license. Punctual and dependable. Ability to pass a background check. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and can climb up and down ladders. Ability to set up and use scaffolding (not afraid of heights) Ability to pull a trailer. Flexible working hours. Possible hotel overnight if needed. High school diploma or equivalent completed education level. Benefits We provide our Installers with: Paid installer training.
