Crawlspace Encapsulation Technician Pro Shield Solutions is looking for a dependable, hardworking Crawlspace Encapsulation Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position working alongside the owner to inspect, clean, repair, and improve crawlspaces for residential customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in tight, dirty, and sometimes challenging crawlspace environments and is willing to learn all aspects of crawlspace waterproofing, encapsulation, insulation, and crawlspace restoration.

Responsibilities Include:

Installing and securing crawlspace vapor barriers Performing full crawlspace encapsulations using reinforced white crawlspace liner/plastic Removing old, damaged, or unwanted insulation Cleaning and preparing crawlspaces before installation Installing and assisting with sump pumps and drainage systems Installing and adjusting floor jacks/support systems as directed Installing insulation and other crawlspace materials Using hand tools and power tools safely and properly Operating a Ramset/powder-actuated fastening tool when trained and authorized Measuring, cutting, fastening, taping, and sealing crawlspace materials Loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials Maintaining a clean and organized job site Following company safety procedures and instructions Working directly with the company owner and other crew members to complete projects efficiently Providing professional and respectful service while working in customers' homes

Applicants must be comfortable:

Crawling and working on hands and knees for extended periods Working in confined and low-clearance crawlspaces Bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and reaching Lifting and carrying equipment and materials Working in hot, cold, damp, dirty, and dusty environments Spending a significant portion of the workday inside crawlspaces Performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday

Qualifications:

Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Strong work ethic and willingness to work Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Comfortable working in confined spaces Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools Construction, remodeling, waterproofing, insulation, or crawlspace experience is a plus but not required Experience with crawlspace encapsulation, vapor barriers, sump pumps, or insulation is a plus Experience operating a Ramset or similar fastening tool is preferred Must be willing to learn and follow all required safety procedures No prior crawlspace experience? That's okay. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, hardworking, mechanically inclined, and ready to learn.

Pay:

$18-$20 per hour depending on experience and skill level Full-time | Approximately 40 hours per week Pro Shield Solutions specializes in crawlspace waterproofing, encapsulation, vapor barriers, sump pumps, insulation removal, floor jacks, crawlspace cleanup, and related crawlspace services.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
