Snelling is currently recruiting experienced Fitters for a great opportunity in the Helena area! We are looking for skilled and dependable Fitters who have experience reading blueprints, fitting, assembling metal components, and working with fabrication equipment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate looking for a consistent 1st shift, 4-day workweek.

Pay:

$22-$26/hour, depending on experience

Fitter Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication plans Fit and assemble structural steel and metal components Measure, cut, align, and position materials accurately Use hand and power tools and fabrication equipment Ensure components are properly aligned and fitted before welding Inspect work for accuracy and quality Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Work efficiently while meeting production and quality standards

Fitter Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Fitter, Structural Fitter, or similar fabrication role Ability to read and understand blueprints Strong measuring and layout skills Experience working with structural steel or heavy fabrication is preferred Ability to use common hands and power tools Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to work a 10-hour shift on your feet Interested and qualified candidates for the Fitter position should submit their resume to whittney@snellingbham.com for immediate consideration.
