Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Steel Erector to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and erection of steel structures, metal buildings, and related components on commercial construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that shape the skylines and infrastructure of communities. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong background in construction and steel erection. Duties Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately assemble steel structures and metal framing components. Erect structural steel for commercial and governmental buildings. Includes Sheeting, insulating, trims and cleanups. Install barjoist and decking . Familiar with working around equipment such as crane, forklifts and man lifts. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, welding, grinding, and assembling materials on-site. Perform dimensional measurements with tape measures and other tools to ensure precise alignment of structural elements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting equipment regularly. Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret technical drawings accurately and execute projects efficiently. Experience Any experience in metal building erection, steel framing, or related construction fields. Willing to learn and learn quick Knowledge of construction site safety standards and procedures to ensure a secure work environment. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other construction equipment required for daily tasks. Previous experience working on diverse construction projects including remodeling or restoration is a plus. "Building people that build together"
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
