Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist Bolt-Up Technicians with flange assembly, disassembly, and bolted joint maintenance. Gather, inspect, and organize bolts, nuts, washers, gaskets, and related materials. Assist with the installation and removal of gaskets and flange components. Clean flange faces and prepare surfaces for assembly. Operate hand tools and assist with hydraulic torque and tensioning equipment under supervision. Help stage and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites. Maintain accurate inventory of bolting supplies and equipment. Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, cleaning, and maintenance. Follow all site safety rules, company policies, and permit requirements. Participate in pre-job safety meetings and hazard assessments. Maintain good housekeeping practices in work areas. Assist with turnaround, shutdown, startup, and maintenance projects as assigned. Communicate effectively with supervisors and crewmembers regarding job progress and safety concerns.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to work in industrial environments, including refineries, chemical plants, power plants, and construction sites. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn bolting and flange management procedures. Ability to use basic hand tools safely. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety. Ability to work well as part of a team. Reliable transportation and ability to report to assigned job locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior industrial or construction experience. TWIC Card. OSHA 10 certification. NCCER Core certification. Basic knowledge of industrial safety practices. Experience working around piping systems and mechanical equipment. Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and climb throughout the workday. Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hardhat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots.
