Job Description
Front End Loader Operator Pay:
$25-$32/hr Position Overview A growing underground utility construction company is seeking an experienced Front End Loader Operator to support underground utility installation projects. This is a long-term opportunity offering steady work, competitive pay, and the chance to work on essential infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Operate front end loaders safely and efficiently on utility construction sites. Load, move, and distribute dirt, rock, pipe, and other materials. Perform backfilling around underground utilities according to project specifications. Complete back dragging and final grading work. Assist crews with underground pipe installation activities. Operate additional equipment such as excavators and backhoes when needed. Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications 3+ years of front end loader operating experience. Experience working on underground utility or underground pipe projects. Ability to perform accurate backfilling and finish grading. Experience with wheel loaders and other heavy equipment. Strong understanding of construction site safety practices. Preferred Experience Backhoe and excavator operation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
