Job Overview We are looking for a reliable Loader Operator to join our overnight manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate a front-end loader, move raw materials, keep production running smoothly, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment. This is a hands-on position that combines equipment operation, material handling, and general labor.Schedule:
6:30 PM - 6:00 AM (Overnight Shift) Responsibilities Safely operate a front-end loader to move raw materials throughout the plant. Load, transport, and stockpile materials in designated areas. Monitor material levels and keep production equipment supplied. Clean up material spills around hoppers and work areas. Perform plant housekeeping duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and organizing workspaces. Assist with general labor and material handling tasks as needed. Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company policies. Communicate with team members and supervisors to support plant operations. Work outdoors and in varying weather and environmental conditions. Maintain dependable attendance and support production goals. Qualifications Experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, shoveling, and sweeping. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Comfortable working around dust, noise, and industrial equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions. Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to help with cleanup and housekeeping tasks. Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Preferred Experience Previous loader operator experience. Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, quarry, or industrial operations. The position involves both operating a front-end loader and performing manual housekeeping and plant cleanup tasks, with a focus on maintaining a safe, orderly, and production-oriented workplace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wharton, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
