Overview Duties Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential homes. You will work alongside a seasoned plumbing mechanic to observe, learn and help. We are registered and approved apprenticeship company for SNJ and can sponsor your apprenticeship. Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision Help with pipe installation, cutting, fitting, and securing plumbing components according to building codes and project specifications Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times Support the inspection of plumbing systems for leaks or malfunctions and assist with repairs as directed Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and power tool safety guidelines Skills Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work Excellent customer service attitude when interacting with clients or team members on-site Commitment to safety protocol adherence and safe operation of power tools and equipment A desire to learn a trade, advance in the field Previous experience is a plus Embark on your journey in the skilled trades industry with us!
