Avionics Technician:

Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assembles, using appropriate tools. Assist and participate with aircraft avionics installations. Perform FAR 43 Appendix E and F certifications along with RVSM certifications. Keep record of work performed in accordance with company policies & FAA requirements. Coordinate work with operators and other personnel as necessary to accomplish tasks. Interpret flight and test data to diagnose malfunctions & systemic performance problems. Demonstrate proficiency in use of common tools and test equipment applicable to avionics. Fabricating parts and tests aids as required. Knowledge and experience requirements for the

Avionics Technician:

• Basic electronics, computers, and software common in Avionics task areas
• Proficient in avionics squawk servicing and retrofit installations.
• Proficient with performing FAR 43 Appendix E and F certifications.
• Familiarity with Garmin, Avidyne, Aspen Avionics, and Genesys Aerosystems equipment.
• 4+ years of practical experience in these specific areas.

Credentials:

• FAA Airframe Certificate or have held an FAA Repairman Certificate.
• NCAAT Aircraft Electronic Technician certification preferable.
• FCC General Radiotelephone Operator Certificate preferable.
