Bank Teller / Customer Service Representative

growing financial services organization is seeking a customer-focused professional to support day-to-day member interactions, financial transactions, and account servicing activities. RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver professional and friendly support to customers by answering questions, resolving concerns, and assisting with routine account requests. Process daily financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with a high level of accuracy. Handle cash transactions securely while following company procedures and balancing assigned cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift. Assist customers with opening and maintaining accounts, including savings products and related financial services. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and supporting documentation. Support compliance efforts by following operational procedures, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines. Communicate product and service information clearly to help customers identify solutions that best meet their needs. Manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day, including assisting clients at both in-person service stations and remote service channels. Prepare forms, reports, and other documentation associated with customer service and account activities. Contribute to a positive customer experience by addressing issues professionally and escalating concerns when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or a related area is a plus. Previous experience in customer service, retail banking, cash handling, or administrative support is helpful but not required. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers. Comfortable working with numbers, handling transactions, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems and software applications. Professional attitude with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and move between multiple service areas during the workday.
