Commercial Overhead Door Service Technician

We are an Overhead Door Company currently seeking one residential and one commercial service technician. We are looking for experienced Service Technicians to join our team and help grow our reputation with outstanding service by doing it right the first time. This is a full-time position based out of Morris County, NJ. Residential Overhead Door Service Technician Service Professionals are responsible for hands-on customer care. They troubleshoot, service, inspect, install, and repair residential equipment of all shapes and sizes. As a Service Professional there is expectation that work orders are to be maintained digitally via our CRM (Service Titan). This position will operate a vehicle regularly to visit different customer sites.

Requirements :

Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience to be considered for this role. Must speak and be able to communicate in English. Mechanical aptitude and technical skills are advantageous. Ability to diagnose issues and repair residential doors, motors and equipment while on- site. Ability to advise customers on repair options and ways to prevent future problems. Ability to sell services, repairs, and new equipment. Managing inventory and equipment in your provided vehicle. Ability to independently perform physical tasks. A clean driving record and a valid Driver's License for the state of employment is required. Comfortable working in various environmental conditions. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Commercial Dock, Gate and Overhead Door Service Technician Service Professionals are responsible for hands-on customer care. They troubleshoot, service, inspect, install, and repair industrial equipment of all shapes and sizes. As a Service Professional there is expectation that work orders are to be maintained digitally via our CRM (Service Titan). This position will operate a vehicle regularly to visit different customer sites and will play a major part in maintaining safety and OSHA compliance for the Company.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience to be considered for this role. Must speak and be able to communicate in English. Ability to repair industrial facilities, including doors (Sectional, Rolling and High Speed), hollow metal walk-thru man doors, gates, loading docks, and dock-leveler's. Ability or a desire to learn welding, steel fabrication, and electrical. Hydraulic and Pneumatics experience is a huge plus. Ability to take direction and work independently while on the road for hours each day. Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills. The ability to think through complex situations critically is a must. Technical school training and OEM certifications are desired but not required. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Overtime opportunities are available. A clean driving record and a valid Driver's License for the state of employment is required. Managing inventory and equipment in your provided vehicle. Commensurate with experience
