Retail Accountant Are you a detail-driven accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment? We're looking for a Retail Accountant with 2+ years of experience to join a dynamic team and play a key role in keeping financial operations accurate, efficient, and business-focused. In this role, you'll go beyond the numbers-partnering with teams across the business to help drive smart financial decisions, support daily retail operations, and ensure the integrity of accounting processes. What You'll Do Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journal entries, and account reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close processes Monitor inventory, sales, and retail-related financial transactions Reconcile bank statements, credit card activity, and general ledger accounts Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense tracking Analyze financial data and help identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement Partner with store operations and leadership teams to support budgeting and reporting needs Help ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial regulations What We're Looking For 2+ years of accounting experience , preferably in retail, consumer goods, or a high-volume transaction environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations Experience with ERP systems or accounting software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Sharp attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Why Join Us?
