As a key contributor, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier drywall finishing work that meets the highest standards of quality and precision. This role requires a deep understanding of drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair techniques, along with a strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Execute drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and finishing with expert precision to achieve smooth, professional surfaces. Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate application of drywall and related materials. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fastening, sanding, and finishing drywall components. Perform metal stud framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation as needed to support drywall work. Conduct drywall repairs and water damage restoration to maintain quality standards across projects. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks efficiently on construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience as a drywall finisher at an advanced (Level 5) skill level with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Extensive knowledge of drywall mudding, taping, texturing (including stucco), plastering, and drywall repair techniques. Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting schematics, and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as trowels, knives, sanders, as well as power tools including drills and spray equipment like airless paint sprayers. Experience with metal stud framing, framing carpentry, masonry work, flooring installation, tile laying, and remodeling is a plus. Strong understanding of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and water damage remediation procedures. Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow detailed schematics for fixture installation or restoration projects. Effective communication skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly on-site.
