If you know how to shape roads and parking lots with perfect slopes and crowns, read grading plans with confidence, and operate motor graders to tight tolerances using GPS and laser systems, you'll thrive here. Things You'll Do Read and interpret plans and specifications to build projects correctly. Communicate project issues and concerns with project manager and the customer. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. Requirements 5+ years grading experience. Must be able to finish parking lots and roads with slopes and crowns Proven experience operating motor graders in finish grading applications. Strong understanding of grading plans, blueprints, and site layouts. Ability to achieve precise grade tolerances (within 0.10 feet or better). Familiarity with GPS and laser-guided grading systems, and total station. Knowledge of soil types and compaction requirements. Strong communication skills with foremen and other equipment operators.
