The Manager, Corporate Development is responsible for strengthening Americhem's inorganic growth strategy by building and managing a robust mergers and acquisitions (M&A) pipeline. This role identifies, evaluates, and cultivates acquisition opportunities aligned with Americhem's strategic objectives while partnering closely with executive leadership to advance opportunities from initial assessment through active transaction support. The position serves as a strategic business partner, enabling a consistent pipeline of qualified targets that supports the company's long-term growth strategy. Responsibilities Partner with VP Corporate Development on the development and management of Americhem's M&A target pipeline. Identify acquisition targets aligned with strategic growth priorities. Perform initial assessments of strategic fit, financial profile, technologies, products, customers, and end markets. Develop company profiles, business cases, and acquisition recommendations for executive leadership. Collaborate with R D, commercial, operations, and finance teams to validate target attractiveness and close information gaps. Present target analyses and recommendations during M&A pipeline reviews. Initiate outreach and cultivate relationships with target companies and owners. Support due diligence activities and strategic research for active transactions. Maintain visibility of market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies. Ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified acquisition opportunities supporting Americhem's long-term growth strategy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Finance, Business, Strategy, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in the specialty chemicals, polymers, plastics, manufacturing, or related industrial sector. Experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, business development, engineering, product management, or corporate development preferred. M&A transaction experience is beneficial but not required.
