Ensures compliance with established internal controls and procedures. Performs daily cycle counting procedures with our computer system. Verifies skid counts and performs cycle counts to reconcile variances. Makes stock moves and adjustments when needed. Assists in bin organization and reorganization. Coordinates and manages inventory movement and consolidation projects to ensure inventory accuracy. Works closely with all Material Handlers, Receiving Team, Shipping Team, Inventory Coordinator, and Supervisors/Managers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for our overall cycle count accuracy.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory as scheduled.
  • Assists Inventory Coordinator with reconciling count differences and adjustments when warranted.
  • Investigates the root cause of inventory discrepancies and reviews with the Inventory Coordinator.
  • Makes bin location corrections and moves as needed during the cycle counting process.
  • Operate RF scanners as needed.
  • Maintains clear and accurate records.
  • Organizes daily activities of all aspects of the Cycle Counting procedure.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Performs visual inventory checks and requests Cycle Count reports for any potential variances.
  • Investigate differences between Current Quantity and Counted Quantity.
  • Assists in other areas of the distribution center operations.
  • Work overtime as needed.
Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree or higher a plus
  • Inventory or Distribution background a plus
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Organized, process and detailed oriented
  • Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Team oriented
  • Inventory Control
  • Forklift Experience a plus
Physical Demands:
  • Able to lift 40 LBS
  • Walking/Standing for long periods of time
