This contract role offers a rewarding opportunity for a Special Education Teacher who holds a current Georgia Special Education Certification and is eager to foster growth, inclusion, and success for young students. Your talents will serve an elementary-age caseload, providing tailored instruction, IEP development, and collaborative support from August 7, 2026, through May 25, 2027. You'll work a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications:

Active Georgia Special Education Certification Experience creating, adapting, or implementing IEPs Strong communication skills to liaise with students, families, and colleagues Ability to develop differentiated lesson plans Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching practices

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction to elementary students with diverse learning needs Write, review, and update IEPs, ensuring compliance and student-centered goals Track student progress and communicate effectively with caregivers and team members Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and administrators Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet individual learning styles
