You'll be based onsite in a specialized educational setting focused on student-centered growth and behavioral support. In this role, you will: Serve as a Cognitive Impairment (CI) Teacher for an elementary-aged student, focusing on behavior management, mental health, and individualized educational strategies. Collaborate closely with a comprehensive team of professionals, including mental health and behavioral specialists, to support the student's learning and well-being. Facilitate academic and social-emotional development tailored to the student's unique needs, incorporating techniques commonly used in ASD support scenarios. Develop, implement, and adapt lesson plans, IEPs, and behavior intervention strategies to ensure ongoing progress. Maintain open and consistent communication with team members and guardians to maximize student success. We're seeking candidates with: CI (Cognitive Impairment) certification (required). Experience or training supporting students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) needs. Strong understanding of behavioral interventions, mental health, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Flexibility and compassion in responding to student needs as they arise. Ability to work onsite with hours from 7:30 am - 2:45 pm.
