Accounts Receivable Clerk Southwest Truck Parts, Inc. - Pratt, KS Southwest Truck Parts is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. Hourly wage starts at $15, but is ultimately determined by experience and education. This is not a quiet office job. We are a busy truck dealership with a fast-paced, high-volume office. The phones ring constantly, customers come through the door all day, and priorities can change quickly. If you enjoy staying busy and can remain organized under pressure, we'd like to talk to you. This is an in-person position only -- no remote work available. Responsibilities Record cash, check, and credit card transactions Reconcile bank accounts Track and maintain federal licensing renewals Maintain state sales tax records Assist with collections and follow up on delinquent accounts Enter and maintain accurate records using Karmak business software Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned What We're Looking For Reliability is our #1 requirement. We need someone who shows up on time every day and can be counted on. Organization is absolutely essential. You must be able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and keep accurate records in a hectic environment. Ability to stay focused and work efficiently in a busy, loud, and fast-paced office. Comfortable handling multiple interruptions while maintaining accuracy. Strong attention to detail. An associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred, but not required if you have accounting or bookkeeping experience. Accounts receivable experience is a plus. Experience working in Microsoft Excel. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
