Job Description

We are growing and adding a Full-Time Dental Treatment Coordinator! The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, professional demeanor, emotionally intelligent, mindful of others, and be a smart team player. You must have the ability to connect with patients and read social cues. We are seeking candidates that are passionate about oral health and willing to help us grow the practice by delivering exceptional service and a high touch experience. This position requires front office dental experience of at least 3 years or have a strong work experience in lieu of. Candidates must be confident in presenting high cost treatment plans, have the acumen in creating solid financial arrangements, and display a commitment with case management and follow up. This position will have a heavy focus on hygiene and dental treatment coordinating.

•Specifics will be discussed at the interview. This position also pays additional monthly incentives based on practice performance. Pay is commensurate with experience.

•Schedule is: Monday to Friday = 38 hours OR Tuesday to Friday = 33 hours

Primary Job Duties Include:

Operate telephones to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments. Answer inquiries and obtain information for general public, patients, visitors, and other interested parties. Must be impeccable at multi-tasking. Provide information to callers. Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining electronic files. Creating financial arrangements for patients and reviewing them in detail. Collect funding or payments for treatment. Able to use financial platforms and review with patients. Communicate with insurance and collect required information. Open and close for business, as needed. Discuss treatment options with patients in detail. Immediate posting of payments and deposits. Calling pharmacy's for patient prescriptions. Daily reporting of specific KPI's. Daily management of unscheduled treatment and hygiene recall reports. Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.

Must demonstrate excellent communication skills when communicating with others to convey information effectively, verbally and written. You must have the ability to multi-task, take initiative, and anticipate the needs of others. You must be flexible and understand that your job duties may change from time to time, especially when you may be asked to "help out" in other areas of the office. Able to work in a team, with humor, enthusiasm and professionalism. Display a positive attitude. Have a sense of urgency. Be actionable and pro-active. Actively listen. Be resourceful and have a solution based approach. Have an adaptable and attentive demeanor. Able to discuss treatment confidently, speak openly about payment options, and move patients forward to scheduling through an educational approach. Be able to overcome patient objections through confirmation and solutions. Display a confident demeanor when interacting with patients and doctors. Use customer service skills extensively, while always thinking of patient, doctors, and stakeholders in decision making. Be empathetic and genuine when interacting with patients. Must be receptive to feedback, development, and coaching. Must be able to work well under pressure. Oryx system experience is a plus, but not required.

Required Experience:

Minimum of a High School Diploma or higher degree of education. Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Google Workspace. At least 3 years of dental experience or strong work experience in lieu of. Must be tech savvy and comfortable with using application software.
