Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, processing claims, and ensuring timely follow-up to maximize reimbursement and support client satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a background in insurance or Dental/Medical billing.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments Submit and track insurance claims accurately and promptly Follow up on denied or unpaid claims and appeal as necessary Maintain up-to-date records of insurance authorizations and coverage changes Communicate with patients regarding coverage and out-of-pocket responsibilities Collaborate with front office and billing teams to ensure streamlined operations Stay current on insurance guidelines and payer policies

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Minimum 1-2 years of experience in insurance coordination, medical billing, or related field Knowledge of insurance verification and claim submission processes Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend systems and insurance portals Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
