9686043-77494 Job Description Step into a dynamic and impactful contract role supporting students across a large, diverse school district in the Houston area. This full-time opportunity involves delivering direct and consultative physical therapy services to K12 students, working alongside another PT to cover a manageable caseload. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Physical Therapistthough highly experienced PTAs with substantial pediatric or school-based experience may also be considered.

Key Qualifications:

Active Texas PT license required; open to PTAs with strong pediatric or school-based backgrounds Previous experience supporting K12 students, preferably in a multi-site/multi-campus setting Proficient with Frontline and SuccessEd documentation or similar platforms Must pass state fingerprinting and background checks per district requirements Ability to drive between campuses (district office serves as home base) Candidates cannot have worked previously for this school district, nor have any school district terminations on their employment record

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a second PT to provide services for a caseload of approximately 160 students, including 50 requiring direct services Rotate between up to 50 campuses as needed to meet students therapy goals Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct intervention Maintain documentation using Frontline and SuccessEd, ensuring compliance with school and legal standards Communicate effectively with school staff and families to promote student progress Adhere to full-time hours (37.5 hours/week), following typical school day schedules (7:303:30 or 8:004:00) This is a rewarding chance to make a difference for students across a vibrant educational community.
