Qualifications:

Active Illinois RN License required School nursing experience preferred, though not mandatory Familiarity with state and district requirements, such as PEL or relevant certifications (if applicable) Strong assessment, triage, and emergency response skills Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established health protocols Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first aid, emergency care, and routine health services to students and staff Manage multiple, simultaneous health situations with clear, effective action plans Collaborate with educators and parents to address student health concerns Maintain strict confidentiality and documentation of health records Monitor and follow protocols for communicable diseases and medication administration Participate in the development of individualized health care plans
