Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a speech-language pathologist supporting elementary students. This onsite position is based near White Rock, NM, just 18 minutes from Santa Fe in Pojoaque, offering a chance to work closely with 1st, 4th, and 5th grade students who benefit from your specialized expertise. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your clinical skill, compassion, and commitment to excellent student care make you a valued asset in this dynamic setting. This full-time opening follows a Monday through Thursday schedule, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while making a meaningful difference during the school week.
Key Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (must meet CCC or be eligible as CFY) Experience or strong interest working in school settings with elementary-aged children Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Flexibility and reliability for onsite work
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for 1st, 4th, and 5th grade students Develop and implement treatment plans that support educational participation and success Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings; coordinate with educators and families to set and reach student goals Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance communication outcomes This position provides a fulfilling opportunity to help children achieve their communication goals in a collaborative and supportive environment.
