IDEXX ProCyte hematology analyzer IDEXX Catalyst chemistry analyzer IDEXX SediVue urine analyzer Digital radiography Dental radiography Ultrasound Cold laser therapy CO₂ surgical laser Modern anesthesia and monitoring equipment We utilize our team efficiently so our veterinarians can spend more time practicing medicine—and our technicians can use their skills rather than spending their day buried in paperwork. What You'll Do As a Veterinary Technician/Assistant, you will play an important role in patient care and the daily operation of our practice.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring anesthesia Administering medications and treatments as directed Placing IV catheters and assisting with fluid therapy Collecting and processing laboratory samples Performing in-house diagnostic testing Providing nursing care to hospitalized patients Safely restraining and handling patients Educating clients on medications, treatments, and appropriate home care Maintaining accurate and complete medical records Assisting with emergency and critical patient care Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment Working collaboratively with doctors and the entire veterinary team We're looking for someone who is: Compassionate and genuinely loves working with animals Reliable, hardworking, and accountable Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A strong communicator and team player Confident with animal restraint and handling Knowledgeable in veterinary terminology and procedures Experienced with catheter placement, blood collection, and fluid administration Comfortable with laboratory equipment and diagnostic testing Familiar with anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing Knowledgeable in animal husbandry and patient care Able to recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations Willing to learn, grow, and share ideas Able to safely lift at least 50 pounds Experience is preferred, but the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn matter just as much. Compensation & Benefits $17.00-$20.00 per hour , based on experience and skill level.
