Job Description
Beelman Truck Co . is currently hiring a full-time experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team at our Montevallo, AL terminal.
Schedule:
Sunday thru Wednesday 8:30 am - 7:00pmPay:
$20 - $26/hr. based on experience. Job Duties- Diagnose mechanic and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and manuals
- Repair or replace faulty engine components like transmissions, brakes, and fuel systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks
- Communicate effectively with drivers and supervisors to diagnose issues and explain repairs
- Maintain detailed records of services performed on vehicles
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and shop protocols Job Requirements
- Must possess own tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands
- Strong understanding of Class 8 equipment in relation to DOT and TMC Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position - lifting, bending, climbing, standing long periods of time, etc. Benefits
