10/08/2026 Job Description Job Description The CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) operates CNC mills, CNC lathes, and multi-axis machining centers in a high-volume production environment. Reporting to the Machining Supervisor, this role machines steel, stainless steel, and mixed materials while maintaining precision, productivity, documentation, and safety standards. Responsibilities Operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and multi-axis machining centers. Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T requirements to machining operations. Set up machines and adjust tool offsets for accurate production. Program and edit G-code as needed. Perform precision inspections and in-process measurements using calipers, micrometers, and related equipment. Maintain cutting tools and support consistent machining performance. Complete production documentation accurately. Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance in a high-volume production environment. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of CNC machining experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with CNC milling, CNC turning, lathes, mills, and manual machining. Knowledge of G-code, blueprint reading, and GD&T. Experience with precision measurement using calipers and micrometers. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety procedures.
