Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Companion to provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those in long-term care, or home care settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Duties As a Caregiver/Companion, your responsibilities will include: Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Monitoring and recording vital signs as needed. Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition. Engaging clients in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental stimulation. Supporting individuals with dementia or memory care needs through specialized techniques. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients at home. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Experience Qualified candidates should possess:
Previous experience in caregiving, home community care, or long-term care settings is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care and memory care techniques is highly desirable. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic patient care practices. A compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families. A commitment to providing high-quality care while respecting the dignity and independence of each individual. $19.65 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 40.0 per week
