We are seeking a bilingual Trucking Capacity Manager to oversee nationwide trucking capacity, vendor management, pricing, and transportation performance.
Responsibilities:
Build and manage nationwide trucking capacity to support YQN's U.S. warehouse network. Source, develop, and maintain relationships with trucking companies, carriers, brokers, and owner-operators. Establish primary and backup carriers for key lanes and regions. Manage transportation capacity for local trucking, FTL, LTL, linehaul, and warehouse transfers. Monitor carrier performance, including on-time delivery, service quality, pricing, and capacity reliability. Optimize transportation costs and reduce reliance on expensive spot-market capacity. Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve capacity shortages and transportation issues. Maintain carrier compliance, insurance, FMCSA/DOT documentation, and vendor records. Develop trucking SOPs, KPIs, and vendor performance standards.
Qualifications:
3+ years of trucking, transportation, carrier management, freight brokerage, or logistics experience. Strong experience managing third-party trucking carriers and transportation vendors. Strong carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, and vendor management skills. Solid understanding of the U.S. trucking market and transportation pricing. Experience managing transportation across multiple locations or regions. Experience with drayage, FTL, LTL, linehaul, or 3PL transportation preferred. Existing carrier network is strongly preferred. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
