FACILITIES MANAGER

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with strong safety and compliance expertise to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety programs of our facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring that all buildings, equipment, and systems operate efficiently while maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Management:

Oversee maintenance, repair, and operation of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs Monitor facility expenses and cost-saving initiatives Ensure facilities meet operational needs and support business functions

Safety & Compliance:

Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety programs and policies Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions Maintain safety documentation, reports, and training records Coordinate emergency preparedness plans and drills

Leadership & Training:

Supervise facilities staff and contractors Provide safety training and promote a culture of safety across the organization Collaborate with HR and leadership on health and safety initiatives

Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor's degree (preferred) 5+ years of experience in facilities management with safety responsibilities Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations Experience with safety audits, compliance programs, and incident management Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills OSHA 10 and/or 30 Certification preferred
