$17.50/hr Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Driver and Warehouse Worker, where your energy and precision will keep our operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you will operate various types of material handling equipment—including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks—to efficiently load, unload, and organize goods within our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and inventory control will ensure accurate order picking, shipping, and receiving processes. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments. Manage inventory by accurately scanning barcodes, updating warehouse management systems (WMS), and conducting regular stock counts. Pick and pack orders with precision using order picker equipment to meet delivery deadlines. Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency. Follow OSHA safety protocols and warehouse safety standards during all materials handling activities. Support warehouse distribution tasks such as organizing stock in designated areas, manual handling of heavy items, and ensuring proper pallet stacking. Skills Proven experience operating forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks in a warehouse setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology for logistics, and inventory management procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling guidelines. Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes along with basic math skills for measurements and inventory calculations. Understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and warehouse operations. Experience with materials handling equipment operation including lift trucks, clamp trucks, and manual pallet jacks.
