Job Description Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a warehouse team in Oakwood, GA. This position is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, stack, and stage materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safe and accurate work. Responsibilities Operate a forklift to safely move, locate, stack, count, and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload trucks and transport palletized or crated materials to designated storage areas. Stack materials in assigned locations and follow inventory control procedures, using an RF scanner when required. Load materials into machine hoppers and remove attachments, waste, or materials from production equipment as needed. Inspect loads, products, and materials for damage or discrepancies and report concerns promptly. Complete pre-shift equipment inspections, perform basic equipment care, and follow all safety procedures and operating instructions. Requirements Previous forklift or powered industrial truck experience preferred. Ability to safely operate a forklift for extended periods, including driving in reverse. Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to judge distances, heights, and surrounding hazards. Ability to read, understand, and follow operating instructions and maintain accurate records. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures and maintain a safe, productive work environment.

Compensation:

$19.00 per hour
