Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment, ensuring efficient materials handling and adherence to safety protocols. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods within our distribution center. Key Responsibilities Load and unload trailers daily using sit-down and stand-up forklifts. Work directly on the shipping/receiving dock, safely moving materials in and out of trailers. Stage, organize, and transport incoming and outgoing materials throughout the warehouse. Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and clamp trucks as needed. Use RF scanners to pick, scan, and track materials accurately. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and assist with shipping/receiving documentation. Complete daily forklift inspections and follow all safety procedures. Maintain an organized dock and staging area. Assist with inventory movement and general material handling as needed. Qualifications Previous dock experience loading and unloading trailers strongly preferred. Recent forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment required. Experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts required. Clamp truck experience is a plus. RF scanner and shipping/receiving experience preferred. Comfortable maneuvering forklifts inside trailers, around docks, and in busy staging areas. Able to perform physical material-handling duties throughout the shift. Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.
