Duties Research grant opportunities by analyzing funding sources from government agencies, foundations, and other nonprofit organizations Develop persuasive grant proposals and compelling case statements aligned with funder priorities and organizational goals Manage the entire grant submission process, including preparing budgets, supporting documents, and compliance reports Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and correspondence using databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar CRM systems Collaborate with program staff to gather content, data, and financial information necessary for proposal writing and reporting Edit and proofread proposals, reports, and related content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism Monitor grant progress through effective contract management and ensure timely submission of renewal applications or reports Requirements Proven experience in grant writing within the nonprofit sector, with a strong track record of securing funding from government agencies and foundations Expertise in contract management, grant management, and compliance requirements Proficiency with databases such as Raiser's Edge or equivalent CRM tools for tracking grants and donor information Exceptional research skills to identify new funding opportunities aligned with organizational programs Strong technical writing experience with the ability to craft clear, persuasive proposals and reports Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Experience in nonprofit community organizations or foundation work is highly desirable Knowledge of budgeting processes, financial report writing, and program development strategies Ability to collaborate effectively across teams while demonstrating strategic planning capabilities Join us in this rewarding role where your skills will help fuel our mission-driven initiatives.
