Job Description

We are actively hiring for an Assistant Manager.
Duties:
- Assist with all functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the General Manager Manage up to 20 associates in a two to three shift operation Ensure 100% customer satisfaction through meeting performance goals. Effectively manage in key areas such as safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, human development, environment, attendance and turnover
- 100% on time delivery
- 100% satisfaction of quality standards
- 100% correct sequencing while working jointly with customers and suppliers.
- Ability to identify process improvements, modify existing work instructions and effectively communicate changes across a broad spectrum of team members
- Ensure effective management and provide leadership and direction to team members, team leaders, group leaders and administrative staff
- Ensure a robust training program is administered and transparent to the customer. Ensure all work instructions are documented, accurate to actual processes and all team members are trained and performing processes as expected
- Establish a culture of safety. Have advanced understanding of OSHA safety regulations and requirements. Implement changes to existing operation as needed
- Measure and monitor KPI's and take appropriate actions where necessary
