MATERIAL TECH - HIRING IMMEDIATELY!
Job Description This material handling role supports warehouse and shipping operations in a manufacturing environment. Associates will operate sit-down forklifts, tuggers, and HiLo forklifts while performing inventory control, material movement, shipping support, and warehouse organization. The position requires adherence to safety standards, use of electronic scanning equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklifts, tuggers, and HiLo equipment to move, store, and transport materials safely. Organize and stock materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and follow FIFO inventory procedures. Use scanners, tablets, and other electronic devices to process material transactions and document activities. Perform equipment inspections, maintain storage areas, support recycling efforts, and participate in inventory activities. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous forklift, warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience preferred. Basic computer, math, communication, and teamwork skills required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights up to 25 feet, and sit or stand for extended periods.
Pay :
$17.00 / hour Work Environment Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility with multiple fans and a clean, organized workspace. Employees work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where safety, quality, and material flow are top priorities. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
