Description We are looking for a dependable Inventory Clerk to support material handling and packing operations for a Contract position in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role focuses on organizing, sorting, and preparing key inventory for shipment or storage while maintaining an orderly work area. The ideal candidate is comfortable with repetitive hands-on tasks, follows instructions carefully, and can remain productive during extended periods on their feet.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize key inventory to ensure items are grouped accurately for processing.
• Prepare materials for shipment or storage by packaging and boxing items with care and consistency.
• Use appropriate packaging supplies to protect contents and maintain presentation standards.
• Handle file boxes and similar containers as part of daily inventory preparation tasks.
• Maintain a clean and efficient workspace to support smooth day-to-day operations.
• Verify that packed items are arranged correctly before moving them to the next stage of handling. Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience in inventory support, warehouse assistance, or a related operational role.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds.
• Capacity to stand and work for extended periods during the shift.
• Familiarity with packaging materials and basic packing procedures.
• Experience handling boxes and organizing physical inventory accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow task instructions reliably.
