Job Summary Join our wonderful team as a Cold Storage Warehouse Inventory and Shipping Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in managing inventory accuracy, coordinating shipping and receiving operations, and ensuring seamless warehouse distribution processes. Your expertise will help us maintain optimal stock levels, streamline order fulfillment, and uphold trade compliance standards within a secure cold storage facility. Duties Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and ensure data accuracy. Prepare, package, and label products for shipment, adhering to proper stocking and packaging procedures. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload goods efficiently within the cold storage environment. Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations to maintain precise inventory records. Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule shipments, manage shipping & receiving processes, and optimize warehouse distribution workflows. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards during order processing and shipment documentation. Perform data entry tasks accurately using ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms to document all inventory movements. Assist with order picking & packing activities to fulfill customer orders promptly while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking supplies properly and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to resolve issues related to order fulfillment or shipment discrepancies. Experience Prior experience working in warehouse operations or cold storage environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems (such as Warehouse Management System or ERP platforms like AS400) is essential. Proven ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is a plus. Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order picking & packing procedures, and load & unload activities. Basic math skills for inventory calculations, data entry accuracy, and shipment documentation. Excellent customer service skills to address inquiries related to orders or shipments effectively.
