Job Duties:

Coordinates warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, issuing, transferring, and shipping materials, equipment, repair parts, and fixed assets. Schedules and conducts inventories of stock and agency property. Assigns inventory numbers and maintains accurate manual and electronic inventory records. Monitors inventory levels and approves requests to replenish supplies and materials. Estimates future supply, merchandise, and equipment needs. Coordinates tool control and ensures compliance with safety, security, and loss-prevention requirements. Documents the transfer, disposal, or surplus of supplies, property, equipment, and spoiled products. Reviews accounting records related to purchases and inventory. Assists with reviewing property-management procedures and recommends improvements. Trains and supervises inmate workers in warehouse and inventory operations. Maintains the security and accountability of assigned inmates. Performs other duties as assigned.

You have a high school diploma or GED. You have four years of paid experience in warehouse operations, public administration, or technical program support. You understand inventory, stock control, receiving, shipping, and warehouse procedures. You can maintain accurate records and work with manual and computerized inventory systems. You are organized and able to track materials, equipment, tools, and fixed assets. You can follow safety, security, loss-prevention, and agency requirements. You can work independently and provide guidance to others. You can maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructureYou'd be a GREAT fit if:

You have experience in facility maintenance or construction. You have experience supervising employees or inmate workers. You have experience managing fixed assets, surplus property, or tool-control programs. You understand purchasing, accounting, and property-management procedures. You can identify inventory issues and recommend improvements. You are detail-oriented, dependable, and skilled at balancing several deadlines and priorities. You communicate clearly and can train others on warehouse policies and procedures
