This role is based out of our Hartford-area depot in South Windsor. Position Overview We're looking for a dependable, physically fit person to join our Hartford-area delivery team. You'll prepare the delivery truck for daily deliveries and hand-stack firewood at customer homes and work directly with the public on every stop, so a professional, customer-first attitude matters as much as physical strength. No firewood experience needed. We provide training. Responsibilities Hand-stack firewood at designated areas on customer properties Load and unload delivery vehicles at stops Clean out and reset the truck at end of day to prep for next day's deliveries Assist with general warehouse tasks between routes Represent VGW professionally in direct, face-to-face contact with customers Requirements Able to lift and carry heavy loads repeatedly through a full shift Reliable, punctual, self-motivated Comfortable working outdoors in all weather, September through March Schedule Monday-Saturday, start time 7:30 AM and ending in mid-afternoon based on route volume Overtime during peak season (Oct-Feb) Start date: Immediate Pay & Perks $18.75/hour + tips Join our team today and contribute to our commitment to excellence in service!
