This role works closely with the Logistics Supervisor and Logistics Manager to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. Key ResponsibilitiesShipping & Logistics Coordination Create and process delivery orders to support customer requirements and shipment schedules Review inventory, sales orders, and customer portals to ensure on-time deliveries Schedule domestic and international shipments Generate pick lists and shipping documentation Coordinate with certification teams to ensure proper shipment release Process bills of lading, shipping labels, ASNs, and export documentation Maintain accurate shipment records for audit compliance Coordinate pickups with freight carriers and transportation providers Process freight invoices and related shipping paperwork Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels and maintain min/max stock requirements Review customer consignment inventory and internal stocking levels Track aging inventory and communicate recommendations to management Perform cycle count administration and inventory reconciliation Update ERP transactions and maintain inventory accuracy records Quality & Customer Support Assist with customer returns and discrepancy investigations Support resolution of quality-related concerns Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and delivery issues Escalate concerns and work with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction Reporting & Metrics Prepare reports on: Inventory levels Shipping performance On-time delivery Lead times Quality performance Warehouse metrics General Office & Administrative Support Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately Process incoming and outgoing mail and courier services Coordinate office supply purchasing Support facility and vendor communication as needed Assist with budget tracking and administrative reporting Additional Responsibilities Train and support Logistics Clerks Participate in internal ISO audits when required Request maintenance and repairs for equipment as needed Support safety, quality, environmental, and operational initiatives Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year of logistics, shipping, inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with ERP systems and shipping transactions Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Must comply with ITAR and EAR requirements Preferred Experience in aerospace, metals, forging, machining, or industrial manufacturing Knowledge of international shipping, export documentation, customs, or freight coordination Experience with cycle counting and inventory control We're looking for someone who: Has experience in manufacturing logistics or shipping within a manufacturing Understands inventory control and ERP transactions Is highly organized and detail-oriented Thrives in a fast-paced production environment Takes ownership of safety, quality, and on-time delivery performance Wants an opportunity that has strong potential to become a long-term role Apply today to join a stable aerospace manufacturer supporting critical aerospace and defense programs.
