Job Description

Amazon Sales & Operations Manager - Vendor Central & Multi-Channel Confidential Fort Lauderdale, FL Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $90,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Management Operations management Shopify E-commerce Bachelor's degree Online retail experience Freight Business operations Process management Full Job Description About the Company We are an established, growing consumer products company with a portfolio of home goods brands. Amazon Vendor Central (1P) is one of our largest channel, operated across multiple vendor codes, and we also sell through major national retailers and online marketplaces. About the Role This is a sales and operations leadership role with full P&L responsibility for our Amazon Vendor Central business. We are looking for a scrappy business operator. You'll own the bottom-line result after COGS, freight, chargebacks, and deductions, not just sell-in volume. You'll also drive the sales execution and day-to-day operations behind that result: purchase orders, inventory, compliance, and pricing handled correctly, so that what we sell actually ships, gets paid, and keeps the account healthy. You'll need to understand contribution margin well enough to spot when an account is selling but not actually making money, and act on it. You won't be doing this alone. Our creative, logistics, and sales teams support this role, additional support will be added as it grows, and we expect you to use AI tools to multiply your own output. In your application, tell us the last Amazon metric you improved and by how much. What You'll Do P&L Management Own the
Amazon Vendor Central P&L:
revenue, COGS, freight, allowances, chargebacks, and deductions down to contribution margin Track performance against plan by account and SKU, identify margin leaks, and drive corrective action on pricing, costs, and deductions Report P&L results, trends, and recommendations to executive leadership Apply the same margin discipline to other retail channels so every account is measured on profit, not just volume Amazon & Multi-Channel Sales & Operations (Primary Focus) Own the Vendor Central case log and compliance inbox, including same-day issues such as listing holds and de-listing risk Manage PO acknowledgment, ASN accuracy, and on-time ship/receive across all vendor codes Own chargeback, deduction, and audit claim tracking, and improve recovery rate over time Monitor account health metrics (in-stock rate, lead-time compliance, chargeback rate, Perfect PO) and keep open disputes moving so nothing gets dropped Drive sales execution across other retail channels, and coordinate new product launch timing with creative and logistics teams AI-Enabled Operations (Expected, Not Optional) Use AI to draft first-pass Vendor Central case and chargeback responses for your review Query ERP data (costs, SKUs, PO status, inventory) with natural-language tools instead of manual exports, and help shape how we build this Review batches of customer tickets with AI to spot recurring issues early Build your own saved prompts and automations for recurring work such as cost updates, case triage, and EDI exception monitoring Demand Planning & Inventory Own the forecast and PO process end to end, working with sourcing and leadership, and directing a demand planner who handles day-to-day mechanics Track inventory across overseas and domestic suppliers (lead times, hold dates, container minimums) Reconcile stock across 3PLs against sell-through and Amazon forecasts Pricing & Master Cost Data Understand the full cost-to-retail picture: factory cost, landed cost, sell price, fees and chargebacks, and real margin by account and SKU Own pricing and the master cost sheet as a single clean source of truth Maintain standard costs in the ERP and reconcile actual vs. standard to catch anomalies Set and maintain sell prices across channels so nothing ships below target contribution margin Compliance & Risk Apply consistent compliance discipline across all channels Maintain a new-item and new-vendor onboarding checklist (certifications, labeling, packaging, category-specific rules) Track regulatory deadlines that carry financial or listing risk Shortage Claims & Chargeback Recovery Coordinate claims between accounting and logistics Keep cases moving and drive disputes to resolution, including carrier-related issues EDI & Retail Account Support Support trading-partner EDI connectivity; be comfortable with EDI documents When a new account opens, make sure connectivity, inventory, and compliance are ready so it can ship and get paid Product & Catalog Operations Create and configure new SKUs in the ERP (item records, UOM, vendor/cost linkage) so items are ready to transact Run operational onboarding checklists from intake through listing-ready Shopify / DTC Order Operations Own day-to-day Shopify operations: order flow, exception handling, and inventory sync with the ERP and fulfillment Keep product data and stock levels accurate so the storefront doesn't oversell Partner with Customer Experience on order-related tickets Customer Experience Oversight Own CX as a function (not every ticket): set standards, manage the support platform, and oversee a blended offshore and domestic team Treat CX as an early-warning system, since recurring complaints often trace back to shortage, quality, or listing issues What This Role Does Not Own Product content, A+ pages, catalog/PIM, and merchandising (owned by Creative). You handle launch timing, inventory, and compliance readiness Social media, influencer, and brand strategy (owned by Creative) Physical logistics: fulfillment, warehousing, freight, and carriers (owned by Logistics). You coordinate with them and rely on their data What You Bring Hands-on experience managing Amazon Vendor Central (1P), including POs, ASNs, chargebacks, and account health metrics Proven P&L management experience in a sales and operations role, ideally for a consumer products brand selling through Amazon and national retail Strong grasp of contribution margin, landed cost, and channel-level profitability Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP Working knowledge of EDI and 3PL operations National retail channel experience is a strong plus Comfort using AI tools to automate and speed up your work Highly organized, able to manage a heavy daily case load and keep many threads moving without dropping any Reporting & Working Style Reports to executive leadership, with day-to-day coordination with logistics and sales Fully remote Attend semi-annual company meetings if necessary Compensation & Benefits Compensation commensurate with experience Health coverage contribution
