Operations Supervisor - Night

Duties Supervise night shift warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive work environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Oversee inventory control procedures using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 to ensure accuracy and accountability. Coordinate logistics operations with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to meet delivery deadlines and optimize distribution efficiency. Manage forklift operations and heavy lifting tasks safely in compliance with OSHA standards; ensure mechanical knowledge is applied effectively. Implement process improvements to streamline warehouse workflows, reduce errors, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Conduct regular safety audits, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Oversee shipping & receiving activities, including documentation accuracy and timely dispatch of goods. Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, cycle counts, and audit reports to support inventory management efforts. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor within a distribution or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS), AS400, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations. Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes and heavy lifting tasks in a fast-paced setting. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and process documentation. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
