Role Description:
The Operations Supervisor supports daily operations across WCCS's Gardena and Culver City vehicle-storage facilities. The position helps coordinate vehicle intake and release, storage logistics, facility presentation, client and vendor communication, maintenance and detailing services, transportation, inventory controls, documentation, quality checks, team scheduling, and operational improvements. The role also performs regular hands-on vehicle care duties, including moving, washing, detailing, and preparing vehicles as operationally needed. The position is expected to deliver high-level customer service and represent the WCCS brand with professionalism, confidence, warmth, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations:
Support and oversee daily operations at both Company locations, including opening and closing, workflow coordination, operational readiness, team assignments, shift handoffs, and adherence to established safety, security, service, and documentation standards. Assist with team scheduling, coverage planning, staff coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. When the Operations Manager is not on site, provide day-to-day operational direction and help ensure appropriate staffing, workflow, and service continuity.
Vehicle Intake, Storage & Release:
Supervise and assist with vehicle intake, release, movement, storage placement, check-in and check-out procedures, battery-tender connections, and related documentation. Regularly move vehicles throughout the facilities and assist with vehicle washing, detailing, and presentation preparation as part of normal operational responsibilities. Maintain accurate custody, inventory, condition, and service records. Safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles and use appropriate spotting and vehicle-handling practices.
Customer Communication & Sales:
Deliver high-level customer service by phone, email, text, and in person. Conduct customer tours, explain membership and service options, communicate value, respond to qualified inquiries, and support the completion of approved membership and service sales. No cold calling is required.
Maintenance, Detailing & Vendors:
Schedule and track maintenance, detailing, transportation, and vendor services. Perform or assist with vehicle washing and detailing as operationally necessary. Liaise with service providers, confirm completion and quality, maintain required documentation, and promptly escalate unresolved issues or costs requiring approval.
Facility Presentation & Safety:
Maintain professional, organized, secure, and customer-ready facilities. Ensure work areas are clean and free of hazards; support inspections and quality checks; and report damage, loss, injury, security, safety, or environmental concerns immediately.
Documentation & Accountability:
Maintain accurate schedules, checklists, logs, inventory information, customer files, service records, and operational reports. Provide timely, factual communication and documentation regarding employee attendance, performance, conduct, safety, or policy-compliance concerns to management.
Brand Representation:
Represent WCCS with professionalism, confidence, warmth, confidentiality, and a client-first approach. Protect customer, vehicle, employee, and Company information and consistently model Company standards of conduct.
Travel Between Facilities:
Travel between the Culver City and Gardena facilities during the workday as operationally necessary. Authorized business travel will be reimbursed in accordance with Company policy and applicable California law.
Other Duties:
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business and operational needs.
Prior experience in operations, facility coordination, automotive services, hospitality, logistics, luxury services, customer service, sales, or a related environment is preferred. Prior team-lead or supervisory experience is also preferred, including experience coordinating employees, workflow, scheduling, or daily operations.
Driver Requirements:
Must maintain a valid California driver license and a driving record acceptable under the Company's operational and insurance requirements. Must be able to safely drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Communication & Organization:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional phone and electronic communication, sound judgment, attention to detail, confidentiality, follow-through, and the ability to organize competing priorities and maintain accurate records.
Technology:
Ability to use computers, mobile devices, email, scheduling tools, inventory systems, electronic forms, and standard business software.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and complete all required employment documentation.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, enter and exit vehicles, and move throughout indoor and outdoor facility areas for extended periods. Must be able to lift, carry, push, or move up to 25 pounds and safely perform vehicle washing and detailing tasks, work around moving vehicles, automotive equipment, cleaning products, and varying weather conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.
