Overview Job Summary The Director of Operations will manage daily business functions, enforce team accountability, and drive strategic growth for our year-round farm market and agritourism company. This role is built for a hands-on leader who can manage our core team members, build structure, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and consistently. You will turn ownership's vision into documented, repeatable processes while finding new ways to scale our revenue, market presence, and visitor footprint. Key Responsibilities Process Enforcements & Accountability Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for opening/closing, retail merchandising, cash handling, and event logistics. Enforce accountability across the team, ensuring daily checklists and task lists are completed to standard without exception. Streamline workflow communication to ensure the team is aligned, efficient, and meeting deadlines. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and manage the team , providing clear daily objectives and constructive feedback. Cross-train staff to ensure operational continuity across the market, agritourism events, and guest services. Foster a culture of execution , pride, and high performance within the small team environment. Business Growth & Strategy Identify and execute growth opportunities , such as expanding corporate events, introducing new agritourism attractions, or optimizing seasonal product lines. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize pricing, improve inventory turnover, and maximize profit margins. Collaborate with ownership to plan and scale seasonal festivals and peak-season infrastructure. Daily Market & Event Operations Oversee year-round retail market operations , ensuring premium product presentation, freshness, and excellent guest experiences. Direct the operational logistics for all agritourism activities, managing crowds, parking, and ticketing during high-volume periods. Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of the entire property and guest-facing areas.

$47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
