Job Description
Van Duzer Vineyards is looking for a part-time Tasting Room Associate. This person will be a key part of creating a memorable experience for guests. They will need to work well as part of a team and promote the ideals and cultures that we are known for, as well as being able to educate our guests regarding our acclaimed wines and the unique AVA that is Van Duzer.

Having a base knowledge of wine is preferred but not required (we are happy to share our passion of wine with you). The ideal Tasting room associate is someone who is able to take what they've learned about our wines/vineyard and share it with our guests in an engaging and enthusiastic manner.
Developing strong relationships with our customers, both club and non-club members alike.
Ensure all Tasting Room opening and closing tasks are completed daily: cleaning, polishing glassware, restocking wine, inventory, etc.
Participate in educational activities to develop a strong understanding of wine and hospitality.
Share education/knowledge with our guests on the things that make us different than other vineyards/wineries.
Conducting daily tasting room operations such as serving wine, limited food service, taking and processing payments as well as maintaining guest profiles and product information.
Execute excellent customer service in person, over the phone, via emailBeing a champion of our Wine Club and driving winery sales.
Maintaining a professional, positive, upbeat and exciting attitude that elevates the atmosphere in the tasting room.
The Requirements21 years of age or older and possess or be able to obtain OLCC permit and Food Handlers card within 30 days.
Be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
Be able to lift 50 lbs.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Motivated by reaching and exceeding sales/membership goals set forth by management.
