Encinitas & Solana Beach Pay:

$23.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience Thrive Interiors is a locally owned furniture, home décor and interior design business serving North County San Diego. We are a growing, family-owned business that values teamwork, great customer service and attention to detail. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented and dependable Order Entry & Customer Service Associate to help manage customer and showroom orders from purchase through receiving and delivery. This is a fast-paced position for someone who can manage multiple priorities, communicate professionally with customers and vendors, and most importantly, take ownership and follow through without needing constant direction. What You'll Do Enter and process customer and showroom orders accurately using Lightspeed . Create purchase orders, place orders with vendors and track outstanding orders. Communicate with vendors regarding availability, lead times, order status and discrepancies. Keep customers and our sales/design team updated on orders and delays. Reconcile incoming merchandise with purchase orders and resolve inventory or billing discrepancies. Coordinate with our receiving and delivery teams to make sure customer orders are complete and ready for delivery. Process customer payments and maintain accurate customer and order information. Handle damaged merchandise claims and follow them through to resolution. Help resolve customer service issues professionally and efficiently. Who We're Looking For Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Comfortable working with numbers, pricing, SKUs and purchase orders. Able to manage multiple orders, deadlines and priorities at once. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills. Professional and friendly when communicating with customers and vendors. Comfortable learning and working in computer-based order and inventory systems. Dependable, flexible and able to shift priorities when needed. A team player who works well with sales, design, receiving and delivery staff. Experience & Skills Strong computer and typing skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with Lightspeed or another retail POS/order-management system is a plus. Previous experience in order entry, customer service, purchasing, retail operations, inventory or administrative support is preferred. Furniture, home furnishings or interior design industry experience is a plus, but not required. Schedule This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week position with rotating Saturdays. Week 1: Monday-Friday Week 2: Tuesday-Saturday Weekend availability is required, and all members of our team participate in the Saturday rotation.
