In this role, you will develop and implement evidence-based wound management protocols, support complex patient care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize healing outcomes and reduce complications. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and update evidence-based wound care protocols and pathways. Provide expert consultation for patients with complex or non-healing wounds. Educate and mentor clinical staff on wound assessment, treatment, and prevention. Monitor wound care outcomes, track quality metrics, and lead improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards related to wound care. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and case managers to coordinate care plans. Evaluate and recommend wound care products, dressings, and technologies. Participate in case reviews, rounds, and interdisciplinary meetings. Serve as a resource for patient and family education on wound care and prevention. Contribute to policy development and best-practice guidelines for wound management across the system.
