NOTICE OF VACANCY POSITION
Assistant Program Coordinator The Early Learning Center at Eastbury School 210 work days per year
WAGES:
$58,649 per year
DUTIES:
• Assist the Program Coordinator in leading teaching staff Support families and achieve enrollment, quality improvement initiatives, and operational goals. Partner with parents in a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children. Serve in various roles throughout our center, including but not limited to caregiving and administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in early childhood or related field and/or equivalent professional experience. At least five years of early childhood education experience is required, with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the ability to ensure its use in the classroom. A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day. Excellent administrative and organizational skills. Effective communication skills (verbal and listening) with an emphasis on problem solving and performance reviews. CPR and First Aid Certification, or the willingness to obtain. Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children. Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle on the rare occasion that supplies need to be transported. Ability to speak, read, and write English.
